In response to a flurry of comments that poured in on Wednesday night, Wynonna Judd spoke to anxious fans, voicing worries about the well-liked country singer’s well-being.
To kick off the CMA Awards, Judd,59, and Jelly Roll,38, sang Jelly Roll’s song “Need a Favor.” Several people expressed their concerns for Judd’s safety during the performance because it was obvious that she was holding onto Jelly Roll.
Following the performance, Judd shared a video on social media in response to her followers’ concerns.
It is advised not to read the comments. She captioned her video with a hilarious joke.
In the brief video, Judd said she had noticed the remarks and decided to be open and honest with her followers.
“I’m just going to be honest with you guys,” she said. “I was really nervous.”
When Jelly Roll invited Judd to open the event with him, Judd stated she was thrilled but couldn’t overcome her trepidation.
When I initially got outside, I was so anxious that I just held on for dear life. And that’s the primary point,” she said.
Following her performance, Judd spoke with ET about why she agreed to grant Jelly Roll’s request to share the stage.
“I have to show up for people like people did for me,” Judd remarked to ET. The speaker stated, “I am doing just that because I have been showered with generosity by others, and it is now my responsibility to pass it on.”
We are relieved to hear that Wynonna Judd is doing well. She has had some challenging times in the last few years.
Let’s hope and pray that in 2024 she experiences much better days.
