Miranda Lambert Stops Another Concert and Finally Responds to the ‘Selfie Backlash’

Even though she was criticized, Miranda Lambert didn’t seem to feel bad about making one of her fans look bad.
Recent news from Mamas Uncut says that the country singer is currently the star of a Vegas residency spot. She also stopped playing at one of her shows last week to yell at a fan.

Lambert reportedly saw a paid fan taking a “selfie” while she was singing her song “Tin Man.” Lambert took advantage of the chance to talk to the paid fan in front of everyone.

“I need some time to myself,” she said. Lambert then told the woman she was looking at to stop taking pictures and start listening to the music.

The fact that these women are taking selfies instead of listening to the song makes me a little mad. I’m sorry, but I really don’t like it. Tonight we’re here to listen to some country music. I’ve got some fucking country music on.

The woman put down her phone, and Lambert went back to his act. During the show, Lambert called out the people who were taking selfies, and her fans were ready to cheer.

Lambert stopped her concert again after her last show when she saw a fan wearing a shirt that said, “Shoot tequila, not selfies.” Lambert seemed to like the outfit.

People in the crowd heard Lambert say that her shirt said, “Shoot tequila, not selfies.” “She did it, not me!”

People are even more angry at Lambert for making things worse by choosing to do so. One reviewer said, “Whoa! It’s crazy that this is how she’s responding to her rudeness.”

Some people on social media seemed to agree with Lambert’s acts just as much as the other concertgoers did. One person on Twitter asked, “How to embarrass and shame your loyal fans who love you.” She could make fun of them, take a picture, and then tell them to enjoy the moment. Not cool.

Going to a show is a great way to make new memories and try new things. Someone else on Twitter said, “Anyone should be able to take a picture to record that memory.”

After Lambert’s actions, the person who was said to be “self-taking” replied and shared the pictures she took. When asked how long it took to take the shot before they went back to their seats, Adela Calin said, “It was no more than 30 seconds.” She also said that they “took the picture quickly and were going to sit back down.”

But Miranda Lambert has already called them out before they can get to that point. Calin said that Lambert’s mean comments about them in front of thousands of people “appalled” her.

“It felt like I was back in school because the teacher told me to sit down again and pointed out what I did wrong,” she said…. She was determined to make us look stupid, young, and full of ourselves. But we were just picture-taking grown women in our 30s to 60s.
