Even though he just tumbled down a hill in Pennsylvania and severely injured his face, chest, and wrist, the 74-year-old comic, who was the star of the inaugural amfAR Las Vegas benefit event on November 22, says he is recovering fine.
“I’m feeling good,” the host said to reporters on the red carpet. I’m okay even if I broke my wrist.
The former Tonight Show host appeared to conceal his facial injuries with makeup during the Wynn Las Vegas dinner honoring Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone.

At the base of his motel, which Inside Edition reported was a Hampton Inn some 30 miles outside of Pittsburgh, Leno told TMZ this week that he stumbled while attempting to reach a neighboring diner.
“You had to walk around a mile and a half to get to the restaurant because I didn’t have a car.” I answered, “Well, the hill doesn’t look that steep.” Its length ranges from 60 to 70 feet. He said, “Let me try to get down the hill,” and then he collapsed.
“Boom, boom, boom!” “I fell down the hill, hit my eye on a rock, and hurt myself,” Leno narrated.

While hosting the program in Las Vegas, Leno didn’t discuss his appearance or the fall. Rather, he concentrated on the script and AIDS research funding.
When Leno spoke, the room was filled with high rollers and celebrities, including Tommy Hilfiger, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Michael Fassbender. While he assisted in the sale of cars, two individuals paid $75,000 apiece to take tours of his renowned car garage.
“I get to go there for free,” he remarked.
For “their generous support of amfAR’s lifesaving work, in addition to many other causes related to health, education, and women’s rights,” the Stallones were also given the amfAR Award of Inspiration, according to a news release.
