Without a doubt, the chest was over a century old. Since the space remained unchanged, the previous occupants most likely did not conceal it. The box proved too heavy to move, even with the aid of ropes and a winch. The castle needed to be smoothed out using a mill because it was so rusted. After then, the hinges were severed since they refused to open. Instead of finding old garbage under the lid, the builders discovered neatly folded silver ingots. Naturally, the owner called the inspector and was summoned to the spot.
Due to its weight, the discovery was valued at 15 million rubles. Given the ingots’ historical significance, the prize winner is probably going to receive a higher price for them. Not everyone is fortunate enough to find a silver gem. The acquisition was at least covered by the home’s owner.
