PRESENTER At the age of sixty, Greg Gutfeld opened up about his self-described “selfish” life before becoming a father.

Greg Gutfeld reflected on his “selfish” existence prior to having children.

Gutfeld and his wife brought their first kid into the world in December.

The couple has been mostly secretive throughout their 21-year romance.Instagram is given credit.
Although he has “mastered the art of being selfish,” which has allowed him to thrive, the new parent stated in a personal essay that it is now time for him to change his ways.
I’m learning something from being a parent at my age that many of you learned in your twenties, thirties, and forties: you have to take other people into consideration. And I find that challenging,” the host admitted in his Fox News segment.
Because altering the past would preclude the possibility of having a child, you cannot regret anything you did before to becoming a parent.
Gutfeld said his “entire home has changed” after his wife, 42-year-old Elena Moussa, gave birth to their daughter Mira in December.
The presenter and his husband physically relocated in July 2024 after spending $10.5 million on a loft in SoHo, New York, according to Realtor.com. Their growing family will have plenty of space in the penthouse.
In his piece, he likened his wife’s tenacity throughout childbirth to a “nine-month tour of duty” that ends with “exhaustion and hormones.”
“And for that reason, we ought to treat mothers like conquering heroes,” he said.
When discussing motherhood, The Five’s anchor asserted that he is “dreadful at everything.”
“I provide emotional support, but Ellen is a bit hands-on and keeps me away from it,” he stated.
“She said I’m terrible at everything and that I’m really clumsy.”
The comedian announced the birth of his daughter with a funny post on X.
On December 10, he wrote, “See, that’s how you keep a secret.”
“Thank you for all of your lovely words. See you in a little while!
Gutfeld initially met Moussa in Portugal in 2004 while on a business trip.
People claims that the comedian was an editor at Maxim UK at the time, and his wife was a picture editor for Maxim Russia.
The political analyst stated in an interview with Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast that he could tell Moussa was his wife as soon as he saw her.
“Oh, that’s my wife,” I thought when I first saw her. “I just knew,” he recalled.
“I tried to talk to her for three days in Portugal after that.”
The couple married only five months after meeting, despite having well-known professions, and they have mostly kept their romance under wraps.
One thing the pair hasn’t kept a secret is Gus, their French bulldog.
Gus has become a sensation on the comedian’s Instagram, where he has made weekly appearances since joining their family in October 2022.
COMMUNION OF HERO
The pair also gained notoriety in 2022 when Gutfeld announced that, in support of his wife and her family, he would alter his show’s regular schedule to allow for additional coverage of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Moussa, who was born in Russia, and her husband settled in the United States while the rest of her family moved to Ukraine.
In order to protect Moussa’s mother from Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine, Gutfeld worked with his Fox News colleagues.
When Moussa and her mother were reunited in a heartfelt video, the designer hugged her and muttered “Thank God” in Russian.
Gutfeld hailed his colleagues Fox News reporters who covered Ukraine, calling them “unbelievably awesome” and “heroes.”

Greg Gutfeld took a 46-day paternity leave from his late-night talk show.

The host asserted that he gave his wife “emotional support” while he was at home.
