A huge Alabai was blocking traffic and causing a jam in the middle of the road. As one of the vehicles approached him, it saw something terrible
During rush hour,It was roughly forty degrees outside. The traffic jam had been there for thirty minutes, and cars were getting frustrated because of the big white Alabai that was laying in the middle of the road.
The canine looked like a stone. It didn’t move or react to honking. It just continuously stared at the cars as they went by, as if guarding something.
A sweaty, nervous driver shouted out the window:
It’s an Alabai! You might get chopped in two by it! Will anyone approach it? Call the police!
No one approached. When two cars failed to avoid each other and collided, glass shattered, bumpers cracked, and curses were exchanged. But the dog was still on the ground. Giant, white, and with sharp eyes.
The door of a cheap foreign automobile opened suddenly. A tall, slender man in a white shirt, obviously an office clerk, exhaled and moved toward the Alabai. Everyone held their breath.
The canine stood up. Slowly. Huge paws and a shaggy back. It stood on its hind legs. Inside a car, someone shouted:
That’s it! He’s done!
The man closed his eyes in fear, but then he noticed something terrible
The man stepped backwards and noticed the dog’s big fat belly. She has a child on the way. He saw that her paws were trembling. Instead of danger, pain now filled her eyes.
He stepped forward and hesitantly held out his hand. Then the incredible thing occurred: the Alabai silently lowered itself on its front paws and buried its nose in his palm.
The man turned to the drivers and shouted:
— She’s sick! She just can’t go on; she’s not antagonistic!
They called the vet. Someone pulled out a bottle of water. People stepped forward carrying umbrellas, cushions, and even towels. Within an hour the Alabai was carefully transferred into a car and the road was free again.
But the story didn’t end there.
Three weeks later, the same man who had gone out first received a letter. Inside was a photograph of five snow-white puppies in a small, cozy shelter.
On the back was written the following:
She survived. She is grateful as well. The pups are waiting for their hero. If you want one of these, just say “yes.” One of them was given your name by us.
