I thought my husband had a mistress, so I installed a hidden camera — but the truth was much worse: I wish he had just been cheating on me

I installed a covert camera because I thought my husband had a lover, but the truth was much worse: I wish he had just cheated on me 😱😱

I had a nagging suspicion that my husband was wrong. He became nervous around me, often stayed late after work, mumbled on the phone, and hung up without warning. His eyes were distant and he shied away from me, as if he was afraid of me.

Even though I was dying of jealousy, I tried not to think negatively. Warning signs included strange messages that he quickly deleted, late returns, and the scent of women’s perfume on his clothes. I was convinced he had a lover.

In desperation, I installed a hidden camera at his workplace. I thought seeing another lady might hurt, but at least it would show the truth.

When I saw the video, my heart stopped. Had it been a mistress instead, I would have

I watched the video with trepidation. On the TV came a young, attractive woman in a bright pink suit, heavily makeup-appeared, and sporting glittering earrings. Initially, I thought, “That’s her, the mistress.”

My husband hugged her too lovingly, like though they were old, close friends, and then they started talking animatedly. He smiled at her, something he hadn’t done for me in months. My heart was broken.

Even if I wanted to stop seeing further betrayals, there was something that kept me watching the movie.

They began whispering a few minutes later. When the woman took a folder out of her luggage and showed my husband some photos, I was astounded by what I saw.

These were photos of individuals with strange dates and notes written on them. My husband and I looked them over and asked some questions, and then we began discussing the details.

“This one talks too much,” said the pink-clad woman. It would be best to take him out by the end of the month.

My husband nodded and made a note in his notebook.

My veins felt like they were freezing. They were discussing murders: the cost, who should foot the bill, and how to hide the evidence. The playful joking and those endearing smiles turned into something awful.

At first, I was jealous of a possible liaison. Now I wish that was all there was to it. Because in reality, my husband had teamed up with the pink-clad woman to plan real murders.
