A soldier witnessed a jaguar that had been carried into a rushing river and was unable to escape during a special operation in the forest. Despite the risk, he chose to save the predator despite the jaguar’s violent opposition and growl
But soon after, the soldier had a cold

While carrying out the covert mission in the jungle, the soldier noticed a roaring river below. It felt tough to stay afloat because of the force with which the water was rushing. Suddenly he saw movement in the hazy seas. At first, he thought it was a log. But a second later, he saw a jaguar struggling in the water, and his heart tightened.
The predator was clearly drowning. Gasping for air, swallowing water, and scratching at the stream with its paws, it momentarily rose to the surface before being pulled under again. It was obviously prevented from fleeing by something. Because they can swim fairly well, these species often have minimal trouble in rivers. However, something had gone wrong this time.
The soldier froze for a moment. He knew that this was a wild animal and a dangerous predator. Everything might end horribly with a single bite or quick thrust. However, he was also unable to watch a live object perish in front of him.
He dropped his equipment and dived into the sea without giving it any more thought.
The tide swept him down immediately. The water was cold and murky, and the pebbles were slippery. The soldier swam toward the jaguar, but he was unable to keep afloat. The fact that someone was seeking to help the animal was not understood by it. It opened its jaws to display its teeth, thrashed, struck out with its paws, and hissed. At one point, the soldier had to dive under the water to escape the predator’s attack.
Each movement needed a considerable deal of effort. The jaguar was heavy, powerful, and terrified. As the river tugged them both back, the soldier could feel his strength ebbing swiftly and his breathing becoming heavy. It dawned on him that the animal was entangled in something underwater, maybe a metal cable from an old bridge or a root.
The jaguar wasn’t released right away. His hands slipped, his face drenched with water, and his heart pounded as if it were about to burst from his chest. But then the hold loosened, and the jaguar suddenly leaped skyward.
By some miracle, they reached shallow water.
Breathing heavily and bracing for the worst, the soldier dropped upon the riverbed. The jaguar was standing very near. Its fur was bristling, its breathing was raspy, its teeth were open, and it was filthy and damp. The predator’s eyes were locked on the man.
The soldier experienced a memorable and unexpected occurrence at that very moment
The jaguar just gave the man a look. For a few long seconds. Then it closed its jaws softly and walked back into the woods without looking back. As if nothing had happened.
A couple of days went by.
The unit encountered an ambush during another operation. The soldier was encircled by foes on all sides. Ammunition was getting low, communication was nonexistent, and escape seemed unlikely. He readied himself for the worst case situation.
Then out of the bush came a deep, rumbling roar.
Everyone froze because it was so strong. A jaguar emerged from the thick jungle. The same one. Its fur was moist, it moved with assurance, and the predator’s eyes were steely. It growled so loudly again that the enemies began to panic and fled.
The jaguar made one full circuit, looked at the soldier, then disappeared into the brush as quietly as it had appeared.
