Before the world knew his name, John was the kind of child who stood out from the crowd. While other kids were riding bikes and playing outside, he was taking dance lessons and sneaking into acting classes whenever he could. His passion for performing started early, and it never left him.

At sixteen, he made a bold decision to leave high school — not out of rebellion, but because Broadway was calling. And he answered that call without hesitation. That boy from Englewood, New Jersey, who loved both acting and aviation, would later dance his way into fame with Saturday Night Fever and win hearts all over the world with Grease.
Growing up as the youngest of six children in a family that loved show business, performance was always part of his life. His mother was an actress and drama teacher, so the stage felt like home from the very beginning. While other teenagers were figuring out what they wanted to do, John was already training, auditioning, and chasing his dream.

One of his earliest big opportunities came when he performed in the touring stage version of Grease, long before the movie made him a global star. In many ways, he was already Danny Zuko before the world even knew the name.

He has spent his life dancing, acting, flying, laughing, and overcoming challenges — and through it all, he has remained unmistakably himself: calm, genuine, and forever carrying that Saturday night spirit.
