In a recent TikTok video set to Rise Up by Andra Day, Tammy appeared alongside six friends she called fellow “weight loss warriors.” Together, the group proudly showcased a combined loss of more than 2,000 pounds while supporting one another and celebrating their progress.
Tammy shared a heartfelt caption praising her friends, saying she was proud of each of them and reminding them they were beautiful both inside and out.

Fans have followed Tammy’s transformation since the premiere of 1000-lb Sisters in 2020, where she stars alongside her sister Amy Slaton Halterman. After bariatric surgery in July 2022 and spending over a year in a rehabilitation center, Tammy continued making steady progress. By late 2023, she had already lost hundreds of pounds and has since reached this new milestone.

She has also spoken openly about how the journey changed her mental health. Tammy shared that before treatment she felt deeply unhappy and depressed, but now sees major personal growth, feels happier, and smiles much more often.

Along with health improvements, she has celebrated personal victories she once thought impossible — including going on rides at Walt Disney World and taking a hot air balloon ride. She said she now values life in a way she never did before.

Her openness and determination have inspired many fans, who continue to praise her remarkable transformation and resilience.
