Age is not a factor in talent, especially artistic skill. On The Voice Senior, contestants over sixty can compete against contestants of their own age. Their incredible sounds are at last brought to light by this.

Mechelina, 63, is the same as everyone else. Most younger people would have assumed Mechelina was just a “ordinary” grandmother or great-grandmother when she appeared on the “The Voice” stage. Although she is a grandma and great-grandmother, she possesses a superpower common to grandmothers: a strong voice.
In the video below, Mechelina enters the stage before the music begins to play. Who wouldn’t be a bit concerned if she was? She inhales deeply, closes her eyes, and begins to sing a well-known Etta James song that enthralls both the audience and the judges.

Mechelina had a lot to live up to when she took the stage of “The Voice” Senior, especially given the song she chose and the fact that Etta Jame’s gospel/blues voice was well-known, which made it simple for others to draw comparisons.
