Sofia Vergara Reveals The Real Reason For Divorce From Joe Manganiello

The popular actress from “Modern Family,” Sofia Vergara, separated from her seven-year husband, Joe Manganiello, in 2023. Following their July divorce decree, Vergara is now disclosing the grounds behind their breakup.

During an interview with PopCulture.com’s Anna Rumer, Vergara disclosed the primary reason behind their breakup.

She told Rumer, “My marriage ended because my husband was younger; he wanted children and I didn’t want to be an old mom.”

“I think it’s unfair to the infant,” That’s no longer for me, but I appreciate those that do it.

Despite the fact that Manganiello is only four years younger than Vergara, who is 51, there was a noticeable contrast in their life phases.

Thus, “he must come with [his own] children if love comes along.”

She continued, acknowledging that menopause was a normal part of life and that she was almost there.

“I have to let my son bring the baby to me when he becomes a father, then I’ll give it back to him and carry on with my life.”

Given her ongoing public scrutiny, Vergara was aware that the announcement of her divorce would garner a great deal of attention.

“You’re constantly under the spotlight, and people are observing everything you do. It was inevitable, therefore I knew that would happen.

Regarding the likelihood that her divorce will be discovered by the public, she remarked, “You can’t hide those things.”

She did, however, convey her appreciation and relief at the way the media covered the news of her divorce.

“You know, I have to admit that the press was really kind and courteous. It wasn’t too horrible.

“And I assumed that they would continue to invent stuff, because you know how it generally works out.

Regarding the way the media covered her divorce, Vergara remarked, “I was surprised and, you know, they, they kind of just said what it was and that was it.”

Vergara seemed to be moving forward in her life overall, concentrating on the future and the possible joy of being a grandma.
