As Alana Thompson, Honey Boo Boo, meets and conquers obstacles, let’s pray for her.The time she spent fighting with her mother, Mama June Shannon, over custody was not easy. Speaking openly about her past misery, Alana now finds solace in her achievements, which include graduating from high school with a 3.0 GPA and enrolling in Regis University to pursue her goal of becoming a neonatal nurse.
Alana went in with her older sister Lauryn as a result of Mama June’s legal issues. Notwithstanding the challenges, family harmony prevailed. When Alana looks back on her trip with gratitude and strength, she recognizes the terrible impacts of her mother’s drug use. I hope she continues to be strong and has success in the future.
