Reality TV star and entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel has shared some heartbreaking news. On April 20, Frankel shared numerous photos of the two of them to mark the unexpected loss of her mother Bernadette Birk.
“Lung cancer claimed her life,” Frankel said in her remarks. “She was complex, in pain, alone, and plagued by demons.”
Despite her difficulties, Frankel called Bernadette “the most stunning woman you have ever seen, who left her abusive home as quickly as I ran from mine.” She was born on the same day as I was.
Even while Frankel called her mother “intelligent, humorous, sophisticated, and wise,” she also acknowledged that her mother struggled with “self-destruction.” Furthermore, according to Frankel, “she loved me and I have beautiful memories of her,” even though Bernadette was not “fit to be a mother.”
Although Frankel admitted that she learned a lot from her mother, including her strength, she also said that she “won’t sugarcoat it, I was an adult long before Bryn’s age, experiencing things no young child should endure.”
I became strong, resilient, and a survivor who can handle anything as a result of this. I was inspired to break the chain when I was young, and the universe gave me the most gorgeous daughter.
