Schauers answers questions from the 600,000+ members to the channel on life after the accident.
One of the questions was, “Do your friends still treat you the same way they used to before the accident?” Are you happy, surprised, or disappointed by any of them?
Schauers admitted that he had been “a little let down” by a couple of them.
He remarked, “Some friends completely reverted and became reticent; others emerged from the woodwork and have shown tremendous support.”
“But I have Sabia, and that’s all I need, so it doesn’t matter to me.”
Sabia concurred, saying, “Going through this together has definitely strengthened a lot of the aspects of our relationship.”

Sabia continued, “The most frequent inquiry since our first video has been how Loren uses the restroom.
Schauer replied, “A colostomy is the removal of my colon from my body so that I can urinate.” I also fart, urinate, and poop because I have bilateral nephrostomies, which are tubes that enter my kidneys and empty them into bags.
His wife went on, “We get questions like, ‘Does he have any private parts?'” He has been mutilated below the waist. Try doing a Google search for “hemicorporectomy” if you have any further inquiries.
A hemicorporectomy, also known as a “trans-lumbar amputation,” is an extreme medical procedure in which the patient’s lower limbs are surgically removed, according to the National Library of Medicine.
This means excising the exterior private parts, rectum, bladder, and bony pelvis. The procedure is typically completed in two stages.
In addition to sharing this candid information, Schauers just shared a terrible picture of his injury.
The Daily Star claims that Loren uploaded a photo of the forklift accident that almost killed him to Instagram.
“If you look closely in the second photo, you can see me still pinned under the forklift,” he wrote on social media.
