Priscilla Presley Denied Request to Be Buried with Elvis & Her Daughter, Report Says

Private burial was held for Lisa Marie Presley.

She suffered the same fate as the members of the Presley family.

Her little girls are traumatized and refuse to visit the home where their mother formerly resided because they too lost a parent, much like Lisa Marie did when she was younger.

Prior to her open memorial service, Lisa Marie Presley was laid to rest in Memphis, Tennessee’s Graceland’s Meditation Garden on January 19, 2023, alongside her son Benjamin Keough. The date of the service is January 22, 2023.

At Graceland were also interred the late star’s parents, Vernon and Gladys Presley, as well as his father, Elvis Presley. Lisa Marie suffered a heart arrest at her Calabasas home on January 12, 2023, and was subsequently sent to the hospital.

After regaining the late singer’s pulse, paramedics transported her to a hospital, where she passed away at the age of 54. Elvis Presley’s grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley, was buried on the grounds in addition to her father, son, and grandparents.

The memorial service for Lisa Marie would take place at Graceland and be broadcast live on the property page. Supporters may physically attend the service, and the live stream would begin at 9 a.m. CT for those who wanted to watch.

The tragic aspect of the late songwriter’s passing was that her cause of death was identical, or almost so, to the causes of death of some of the “Here Today, Gone Tomorrow” singer’s relatives.

According to preliminary research, the King of Rock ‘n Roll may have overdosed on drugs and died. Ten prescription medications were discovered in the late star’s body, according to reports at the time, however that was later ruled out.

While Elvis was serving in the US Army and stationed in Germany in August of 1958, Gladys fell ill. The legendary singer raced home to be with her, and on August 14, 1958, at the age of 46, he was present when she passed away.

Although a heart attack was first listed as the cause of death, subsequent investigations indicated that alcohol poisoning-related liver failure was a contributing role. The vocalist of “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” who expressed her grief at the moment, said:

My heart was broken by it. She was my best friend forever.

At his mother’s funeral, nobody was able to comfort Lisa Marie’s father, and following her burial, he had trouble walking. Friends of the singer of “Nobody Noticed It” claimed that he altered and never really recovered after the loss of his mother.

Additionally remaining put at her grandma Priscilla Presley’s house was Riley Keough, the eldest daughter of the late songwriter Lisa Marie Presley.

Two years after the singer of “You Gave Me a Mountain” passed away, in June 1979, Vernon, at sixty-three, too passed away from a heart attack. Regretfully, it was reported that Lisa Marie’s kids were having difficulty dealing with their mother’s passing.

According to reports, Lisa Marie’s 14-year-old daughters are traumatized and won’t go back to the house where she passed away.
Elvis was residing at Graceland with Lisa Marie when he passed away. The vocalist of “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet” subsequently related how, when she was nine, he gave her a goodnight kiss just before collapsing and never getting better.

Lisa Marie discovered her father face down in the restroom the following day. Since Elvis wasn’t doing well at the time, she admitted in 2003 that she had “a feeling” something would go wrong.

Lisa Marie’s 14-year-old twin children, Harper and Finley Lockwood, were reportedly horrified by her unexpected death in 2023 and refused to go back to the house where she suffered a heart arrest. The girls were reportedly visiting their grandmother’s home, according to sources.

Since her daughter’s passing, Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley, has resided in Los Angeles with her granddaughters. The eldest daughter of the late composer, Riley Keough, was likewise remaining put at her grandmother’s house.

The family was relying on one another to get them through this trying period. According to insiders, Michael Lockwood, the twins’ father, made sure the family’s needs were met during their grieving.

The one request that Priscilla Presley made during Lisa Marie’s trust negotiation was denied.
Following Lisa’s passing, a multi-million dollar trust was established, and Priscilla and her granddaughter Riley Keough were at odds over it.

Priscilla asked for something other than money during the negotiations, despite reports that she was not difficult to work with. Although she lost the battle, Presley’s ex-wife desired to be buried next to him. Priscilla did not cause much issue, even with this request; she gave it without protest.

Even though Priscilla didn’t obtain the grave she had hoped for, she still made off with a sizable payment thanks to her daughter’s confidence. The actress was reportedly anticipated to collect millions.

In exchange for Priscilla abandoning her claims on who would be in charge of Lisa’s trust, she was paid millions of dollars. She also gave up her portion in Elvis Presley Enterprises and Lisa’s Graceland estate.
