The second husband of Lisa Marie Presley was Michael Jackson.

Their romantic relationship did not begin until 1992, when they were first meet at a mutual acquaintance’s dinner party in Los Angeles.

They had initially met at a Las Vegas event in the 1970s.


Lisa then wed her first husband, Danny Keough. Although they didn’t start dating right away, they quickly became friends.


One evening in 1993, after Presley had helped Jackson with the inquiry, Jackson called Presley and asked him to marry him.


Michael and Lisa Marie Presley exchanged vows in a brief 15-minute ceremony in the Dominican Republic. Later, she announced her union to the media in a statement.

Together, Michael and Lisa appeared in public on multiple occasions. The most well-known instance was in September 1994 when the singer of Thriller k*ssed Presley live at the MTV Video Music Awards, stating,

Rumors circulated that they weren’t spending enough time together and that their well-known marriage was failing.

The couple also disclosed that they planned to soon begin a family.

However, rumors circulated that Jackson’s drug use was the root of their marital issues. The Bad singer and Lisa Marie Presley ended their relationship one month after Presley filed for divorce in December 1995. August 1996 marked the official end of their marriage.


Lisa and Michael did not have any children together, although Presley had four from her previous marriages. Riley and Ben were born into her marriage to Danny Keough, Finley Aaron Love Lockwood and Harper Vivienne Ann were born into her marriage to Michael Lockwood.
