The actress announced her father’s loss on social media on Monday. He was 85 years old, which was pretty ancient.
Jennifer Gardner’s father was William John Garner. This man, who was he?
William John “Billy” Garner attended Texas A&M University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 1961 and a master’s degree in the same field in 1976, according to KBTX News 3.hip.

She was raised in Charleston, West Virginia, after being born in Texas.

Jennifer did, however, mention that William received care at City of Hope and Charleston Area Medical Center. She remained silent on William’s demise.
