This incredible woman, Natalie Trailing, lives in Melbourne, Australia. Natalie had an extremely difficult life.
Her parents were immigrants who moved to Melbourne in 1993 after she was born in Croatia in the 1940s. She found work at a motel there. However, the motel closed down fast, and Natalie found herself homeless for nine years.
She would regularly visit a music store to practice her piano skills. It was there that her brilliance was discovered by the general public. People giggled when they watched an old woman playing the piano for the first time. But as they heard her perform, their smiles became to admiration. Natalie works at a large hotel and now plays the piano in the lobby.
Nonetheless, she occasionally still visits her preferred record store to simply play for enjoyment. She gives a really compelling performance. Even with arthritis, her fingers glide over the keys with grace.
