A Cappella ‘God Bless The USA’ By Home Free With Lee Greenwood And US Air Force Band

The US Air Force Band and Lee Greenwood join the patriotic a cappella group from Home Free as they perform “God Bless the USA.”
“God Bless The USA” was originally published by Lee Greenwood in 1984. After Korean Air Lines Flight 007 was shot down, Lee, who had always been inspired to write a patriotic song, believed it was time to unite the nation.

The song did well at first on the country charts, but its major breakthrough came after the September 11 attacks.

“I am glad to be an American since I am aware of my freedom, and I will always remember the men who granted me that privilege.”

Home Free, an American a cappella group, competed in the fourth season of The Sing-Off and won. The band Home Free, which consists of Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance, has been putting out their unique sound for years.

Today, they’re performing a special version of “God Bless the USA” with the US Air Force Band and famed vocalist Lee Greenwood.
