To celebrate their 46th wedding anniversary, Donny Osmond and his wife Debbie posted a touching wedding photo to Instagram.
In this rare picture, Donny, decked out in a blue tux, watches adoringly as Debbie cuts a four-tiered cake. Debbie is dressed in white and sporting a veil.
“It was definitely a honeymoon we won’t soon forget,” Donny remarked, recalling their unique honeymoon that featured a family trip to Las Vegas in 1978. He went on, “No one will know where we are,” making a hint about a more private event that was approaching.
Donny’s public identity has been built around his relationship with Debbie throughout the years, which is often honored with heartfelt gestures.
Donny described a touching moment when he performed “My Perfect Rhyme,” a song he had written especially for Debbie, in a 2005 interview with Larry King.
He recalled it with fondness—she listened to it. She looked at me for a moment before answering, “Okay, you bought yourself another 26 years.” She was in love with it.
The couple has had five children and fourteen grandchildren, thus their family has grown significantly over time. As the embodiment of the American family man, Donny Osmond is really respected by his loved ones and followers.
