A lot of people interpret it as a sign.
There are moments and connections in life, regardless of one’s religious membership or lack thereof, that make us feel like we are a part of something greater.
To have confidence in God, one must refrain from questioning the events that occur or the challenges that one may encounter along the way.
On social media, Italian photographer Alfredo Lo Brutto recently posted a picture of a person he had taken in the sky. The figure was remarkably similar to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil’s Christ the Redeemer statue. Standing thirty meters tall, this stunning statue is the largest depiction of Jesus on Earth as well as the tallest art deco statue ever made.
When Alfredo posted the incredible photo he had taken of the Tyrrhenian Sea, he was able to stir up some controversy. Some believe the figure is divine and a sign from God, while others claim it is just the clouds with the sun shining through them.
Before, images that appeared online sparked differing perspectives from people, and this time, a substantial number of people are on opposing sides of the argument.
I was completely captivated by the scenery. Alfredo told Daily Mail, “I don’t usually post images on social media, but when I took this one, I felt like I wanted other people to see it because it was so beautiful.” “I don’t post pictures on social media very often because I don’t share them.”
Even if you can’t see a picture of Jesus in it, we can all agree that this photograph is remarkable because it captures the beauty of the natural world in which we live.
