It has been thirteen years since the historic January 26, 2022, birth of octuplets that captured the attention of the entire globe.
On January 26, 2009, a historic event took place in the United States when six boys and two girls were delivered via cesarean section. The news of this incredible incident quickly spread around the world.
Their mother, Nadia Suleman, was thirty-four years old and had grown up in a household. She had previously given birth to six additional children through in vitro fertilization (IVF), for an astounding total of fourteen children without a spouse.
Nadia revealed that after her fertility doctor implanted 12 embryos, she became pregnant more than once. She later claimed that she was given false information regarding the procedure. Her doctor’s medical license was revoked as a result of this affair due to unethical behavior, and more stringent IVF regulations were implemented in the US.
Nadia, who became well-known as “Octomom,” received praise and condemnation. She did finance her large family by participating in reality television and other media projects, but she has always maintained that love, not fame or fortune, was the driving force behind her decision to have additional children.
Nadia’s family is currently leading a stable, although modest, life. She frequently posts updates about her octuplets on social media and advocates for a plant-based, nutritious diet.
Despite all of the challenges they have faced, the family still appears content and unified.
