However, it may not be well known to fans that Cruise was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of seven. The actor has also been a devout member of the Church of Scientology for a long time, to which he credits their assistance in helping him get over his dyslexia.
Cruise’s first wife, Mimi Rogers, introduced him to the religion. Her father introduced Cruise to Scientology because he was a member and invited her to a meeting at the Hollywood Scientology center.

However, the well-known actress Rogers insisted that neither Scientology nor notoriety nor Cruise’s jealousy had anything to do with their breakup.
