Never leave a charger in an outlet without your phone: I’ll expose the three major reasons

Some people forget to remove their chargers from the sockets after charging their electronic devices. However, very few people are aware of the potential consequences of doing so.

What happens if you leave the charger in the outlet? Even in standby mode, several of the charger’s components continue to consume power. Despite using very little electricity, it continues.

When the charger is plugged into an outlet repeatedly, it will overheat and the internal components, especially the capacitors, will deteriorate more quickly. In the case of a sudden voltage shift, the mains-connected charger has the potential to overheat and begin to smoke, which could ignite a fire.

It’s also crucial to make your home secure, particularly if you have small children or animals. It could shock you if a corded charger is plugged into an outlet.
