Jason is a man with many years of experience as a pilot. Throughout his work, he has come into a number of unanticipated situations that required quick thought to resolve.
But he became a hero after a specific incident.
Suddenly, during a recent flight, a massive flock of birds began beating on the glass of the airplane that Jason was operating.
The vision was so odd that Jason was taken aback. Knowing that the lives of the passengers were in his hands, he tried to find a way out of the angry birds, but it wasn’t as easy as he had imagined.
While trying to reassure everyone on board that everything would turn out nicely, he prayed that the birds wouldn’t damage the engine.
Unfortunately, the birds were just growing more hostile, and Jason had no idea what to do next to get rid of them.
He requested assistance from flight control, but the tower did not respond.
He could not control the plane, so he made the decision to return to the airport. However, the attacks became so severe that he was forced to attempt a water landing, a move he had never performed before.
That might sound crazy, but that was the only sensible option this pilot could come up with.
Although the landing was rough, luckily no one was harmed.
Tugboats were dispatched to the scene to remove the aircraft from the water once rescuers arrived. The birds continued to assault, but it took some time for the rescue operation to be completed and every passenger to be safely removed. The reason the birds persevered was unknown, despite the rescue workers’ best attempts to frighten them.
After some investigation, the reason behind the bird flock’s attack on the airplane was determined. One of the travelers turned out to be involved in the illegal trade in exotic birds and was trying to ship several of them.
As everything came to an end and he learned that everyone was safe, Jason was relieved and started crying with joy. He not only saved the day, but also exposed a covert operation.
This is but another example of the challenges that people working in the aviation sector encounter.
Jason was commended for both his action and his ability to remain composed while ensuring the safety of every person on board.
The only person who could have put a halt to the illegal activity that was causing the strange behavior in the birds was this one.
