Because boybands frequently feature on Britain’s Got Talent, several audience members couldn’t help but roll their eyes when Collabro initially took the stage. But in a matter of seconds, it was clear that they had miscalculated these youngsters.
Before their audition, the five-member group—Michael Auger, Jamie Lambert, Matthew Pagan, Thomas Redgrave, and Adam Bernardo—had barely known one another for a month. Their performance, however, was truly remarkable. They were given a well-earned standing ovation by the audience for their rendition of “Stars” from the musical Les Misérables.
They continued to be successful after that. After winning the series in 2014, Collabro signed with Syco Music, Simon Cowell’s record label. Since then, they have put out a number of albums and toured extensively throughout Europe and the UK, regularly playing to sold-out crowds.
Without a question, one of the most popular musical groups to come out of a talent contest is Collabro. Feel free to leave us a comment on Facebook after seeing their amazing audition below!
