Elvis Presley’s ”grandson” takes the stage and stuns audiences

Nothing compares to the real Elvis Presley, despite the fact that many have tried to imitate him. Is that feasible?

When Dakota Striplin took the stage and began singing the timeless hit song “Love Me Tender,” the judges of The Voice were moved to tears.

But they were surprised by more than just his voice. After his performance, Dakota made a startling admission that nearly knocked the judges off their feet.

A few years ago, an intriguing young man appeared on The Voice Australia. The 24-year-old Dakota Striplin stole the event when he performed “Love Me Tender,” a 1956 song by Elvis Presley. His resemblance to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll was startling. Dakota had the same hairstyle, the same jawline as the legendary singer, and—above all—a golden voice that brought back memories of the great.
His nose and eyebrows even resembled those of Elvis. Throughout the concert, Dakota’s smooth, honeyed voice captivated the audience. He demonstrated his guitar skills as well, which added emotion to his performance. Naturally, the crowd erupted in applause upon realizing they were seeing the live performance of Elvis Presley’s grandson.

Just as impressed were the judges. Before Dakota had completed the first line, two of them had already shifted seats and pushed buttons. The third judge, Guy Sebastian, was on the verge of pressing his button but changed his mind at the last second. Later on, he would come to regret this choice.

But what about the relationship to Elvis Presley? When examining side-by-side photos, it’s clear how similar Dakota and Elvis seem. The intrigue increased further when Dakota revealed that he might actually be the King’s grandson.

“My favorite has always been Elvis. Since I was a small child, I have held him in high regard. But my dad just found out that his father wasn’t his biological father and that he and my grandma have a lengthy history together. Dakota said, “She appeared to know Elvis and had previously worked at his concerts.”
Although there are occasionally Elvis impersonators, they are rarely more than just strikingly similar in look. Elvis’s lone grandchild, Benjamin, was a perfect match for the King.
Regardless of any familial ties, Dakota Striplin displayed his incredible talent, and Elvis would have enjoyed his rendition of the classic 1950s hit. Dakota later showed off his flexibility by performing a variety of other songs, such as a lively cover of I Just Can’t Wait To Be King from The Lion King.
