Baby who weighed 16 pounds in 1983 is now an adult and still known for his huge size

An incredible journey began in 1983 when Patricia Clarke, then 24 years old, learned she was expecting her second child. She suspected that her child would be slightly larger than typical because her family was known for having huge babies. But she didn’t know her child would grow up to be that big.

Patricia gave birth to a child named Kevin Robert Clark. He weighed more over sixteen pounds at birth, which was exceptionally large! This makes him the largest baby ever born at Community Memorial Hospital and probably the largest newborn in New Jersey. Kevin was too big for a normal crib and newborn clothes, but he was fortunately healthy.

At first, Kevin’s size attracted people to him. He even appeared on TV shows like “Good Morning America” and “Saturday Night Live,” and he generated a lot of national conversation.

However, Kevin’s growth continued after that. He kept growing, and by the time he was twelve, he was five feet seven inches tall. In junior high, he was six feet five inches tall. The fact that people were suddenly asking him how tall he was made Kevin laugh. He remarked, “I like to joke that I’m 5-foot-21.” When someone asks me if I play basketball, I tell them I play miniature golf.

Kevin stands 6 feet 9 inches tall and is 39 years old. He lives with his 6-foot-6 wife and Great Dane and was formerly in the military. He says he has come to terms with his uncommon stature and has become used to being bigger than almost everyone else.

Although he seems to be doing well, Kevin’s life has been an adventure in handling attention and people’s interest. He’s a great example of living a self-assured life and embracing your individuality. Kevin’s story has really motivated us, and we wish him luck in all of his future endeavors!
