A nimble 88-year-old dancer dazzles the AGT judges with an age-defying routine.

The judges and audience of America’s Got Talent were impressed by an 88-year-old exotic dancer’s “unpredictable” performance during an audition. Penny was regarded as a national treasure and claimed to be America’s senior burlesque dancer.

Palm Bay, Florida, is where Penny Starr Sr. was born. Wearing feathers in shades of red, white, and blue, she had made her appearance on the AGT stage. The attractive senior said, “I want to give America a real show, a get-up-and-go show.”

Simon asked Penny if she was single, to which she replied that she was a widow with six husbands. The media tycoon asked if the contestant would be open to getting married for the seventh time. “Yes,” she replied, “but breaking them in takes time.”

“You’re a Grand Old Flag” was the first song Penny sang throughout her performance. When the elder woman decided to take off her clothes one by one, the four judges were ecstatic. The emcee, Terry Crews, honored the act by scattering red, white, and blue confetti around the stage.

“Penny, I want to be you when I grow up,” Sofia Vergara remarked, praising the 88-year-old contestant. Heidi Klum, a former Victoria’s Secret model, backed Penny.

Simon flirted with the spunky senior dancer after becoming enamored with her. However, he then posed a bold query to Penny that will decide her destiny on AGT. The media tycoon pushed the participant, asking if moving ahead would cause more clothes to fall off. “I would be happy to do so,” the excited senior answered.

At this point, the judge, Howie Mandel, said, “I want to see more!” Four yeses went to Penny. The AGT judges had to select just 54 performers from a total of 138, even though they advanced to the next round. Consequently, the burlesque dancer’s AGT journey ends.
