He was only 13 years old when he lost his star mom in a sudden accident Years later, he took her lost name, despite being dad’s carbon copy His tragic story, and pics of him today

Their relationship began when they worked together on Broadway in 1993 in Anna Christie, even though the actress was married at the time.

After her marriage finally fell apart, she married the actor in 1994 and had two kids together.

Early on, it was clear that the couple was close because they talked about how well their acts went together.

Many years later, the actress spoke out against the actor’s image as a ladies’ man, telling Country Living, “I’m glad that women fall in love with him because I know why.”

Their love grew stronger after they got married, and they were excited to become parents. They had their first son in 1995 and their second son 18 months later.

But tragedy struck when star Natasha Richardson hurt her brain while skiing in 2009. At first, she said she didn’t fall, but as her state got worse, doctors decided she was brain dead.

Family and friends were able to say goodbye to Neeson before he remembered a deal they had made and took her off of life support.

Micheál, their oldest son, later became an actor like her. He has been in movies and TV shows like Broken Symphony, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Vox Lux, Big Dogs, and Paradise.

Micheál also decided to change his last name to Richardson as a way to honor his mother after many years.

The Times said he made it clearer: “It was mostly an honor to my mother, a way to carry her with me.”

“It was a lovely gesture,” his father said to show his appreciation for this kind act. It had a big impact on Natasha’s mom, aunts, and other family members. I’m proud of it.

Neeson is pleased with his son’s choice and found comfort in the fact that Micheál’s name and job will carry on Natasha’s memory.

Micheál has become famous as an actor since then by costarring with his father in movies like Made in Italy and Cold Pursuit. He keeps up the family tradition of giving great performances while keeping his mother’s memory close to his heart.

What a lovely story! There’s no question that Natasha Richardson would be very proud of her son and all that he has done!
