Winry was born with a mark on her face called congenital melanocytic nevi (CMN). It is very rare and covers a quarter of her face. Nicole Lucas Hall wants everyone to see how beautiful her daughter is. Medical staff told Nicole that Winry was healthy after they confirmed that the scar wasn’t a bruise.
Nicole suggests that parents have honest talks with their kids about being unique in order to help them accept others who are different. Nicole says her child is happy and active, but she worries that Winry will be bullied as she gets older.
