The online community was furious when a celebrity wrote on TikTok that she’s “too pretty” for the daily grind of work.
People on the internet were angry that she thought jobs were only open to a group of ugly people and called her “shallow” and “entitled.”

An internet star named Lucy Welcher, who has almost 20 million followers, recently posted a movie that quickly became popular all over the world.
There are a lot of videos of the young redhead sitting in her car, drinking iced coffee, and bragging about something she bought at one of her favorite stores. She knows she’s “the worst kind of person…who can’t handle getting their own way.”
The person, who is now 20 years old, put up a TikTok video on November 8, 2022, with the words “Not my thing [laughing emoji] #working #scam.”
“I do not want to work for the rest of my life.” Does getting up at six in the morning sound like something I want to do for sixty years? Not at all! In the short film, she said, “I’m too pretty for that!”
People quickly left comments, and many of them called the person who made the video “lazy” and “entitled.”
“Boy, I wish I had your confidence so I could think I look better than I really do.” “God, you people are so shallow and in love with yourselves,” says one TikTok user.
One person said, “Someone has a right to that.” “Daughter, you need to lose your pride, so I hope you do.” That way of thinking is wrong because how you look has nothing to do with your ability to work.
A third cybernaut replied, “Why don’t you try to be an adult instead of a spoiled princess who expects life to be handed to her?”
“Lied about”
In answer to user comments, Welcher took down the controversial video, saying that many people did not see it as “a joke.” It was in a new post that she said she was being “slandered all over social media for that video I posted.”
It’s funny that the TikTok star then goes on to edit and fix some internet stories that say she doesn’t have “class vehicles” or make $100,000 a year. Welcher, who also says she is Canadian, thinks the claim that she lives in a mansion is “hilarious…because my house is literally falling apart.”
Make over
After a few days, on November 14, Welcher shared a new video of herself drinking her iced coffee again. She liked all the attention.
Welcher plays out the script from her deleted “I’m too pretty” video and captions it, “Remake of the most hated video I’ve ever made.”
Since her last post was meant to be funny, most people on the internet were on her side this time.
“You’re right, getting up early to go to work will ruin your good looks,” says one person.
Someone else writes, “This video and the first one gave me life.”
Someone else writes, “You are too pretty for that.” This person likes pretty people. These are just the hard facts of life.
