Bella, 18, and Danika, 15, are mixed since Berlin is white and Faulkner is black.
Faulkner recognized Bella’s worries about racial and political tensions since she plans to start college in the fall.
“As a person of color and as someone who speaks out about faith, it’s very adjacent when people are hated for their way of believing and their position in society,” Faulkner said in a recent interview with the Daily Mail.
Faulkner and Berlin raised their daughters in a religiously diverse household because Faulkner is a Baptist Christian and Berlin is Jewish. The two have been married since 2003.

“Am I more worried about them being recognized for their skin tone and hair type or their faith?” she said.
“I worry about everything. Also, not just for my kids.
Faulkner continued, “I genuinely think it’s important for Jewish kids on campuses to realize that they have partners and that the hate on campus is a microcosm of the love that exists outside.”
The mother also expressed her belief that transgender women shouldn’t participate in sports, echoing a recent executive order issued by President Donald Trump.
Faulkner said her youngest daughter just completed eight years of gymnastics competition.
“The sport would be completely different if my daughter could compete against biological men,” she said.
Fox News personality Harris Faulkner spoke out about his battle for viewers’ attention with The View and the “dicey” host who “came after her” on television.
“I’m worried about her security.”
“I want her to feel that her best efforts matter and that the competition is fair,” she said.
Furthermore, according to Faulkner, her older daughter has already decided on her political stance.
“Bella is remarkably confident about who she will vote for and knows who she is,” the anchor said.
Do their skin tone and hair type making them stick out or their faith scare me more? My worries are all over the place. Also, not just for my kids.
“She plans to pursue a degree in early childhood education with a focus on children who need extra love and support because they are challenged.”
The Fox News host also talked about the ratings competition between her show, The Faulkner Focus, and the ABC debate show The View.
She scolded, “There’s this shout it, swear it, do whatever you have to do to get a little more attention around the hot topics on The View.”
During an appearance in 2018, she also chastised Sunny Hostin of The View for making “dicey remarks” and “coming for her.”
Last year, Faulkner commemorated 10 years of hosting the Fox News afternoon program Outnumbered. Faulkner joined the network in 2005.
Furthermore, at the end of January, her show averaged 2,552,000 views, a startling increase over The View’s 2,508,000 viewers.
