They discovered their freshly adopted pitbull chewing on their newborn baby’s cot in the middle of the night. As they saw the baby more closely and realized what the dog had done, they started crying.
The Robinsons, a family with a 6-year-old child, made the decision to relocate to a larger house in a rural region where they planned to establish a farm after the wife became pregnant with their second child. They were renting a tiny apartment before to purchasing the house, which made it illegal for them to keep pets at home. But they were keen to get a puppy now that they had a house of their own.

They went to a number of shelters to adopt a dog, and as they heard the tales of how each one got there, they came across Benson, a shy Pit Bull.
Unfortunately, Benson’s life was not easy.He struggled for years before being abandoned on the streets. When volunteers discovered him, he was reluctant to look up since he had already lost faith in humans. Before being adopted by a family, he spent some time in the shelter, but his joy was short-lived—two weeks. The family decided they didn’t want him because he wasn’t friendly.

After knowing this, Mrs. Robinson decided to provide him a better life. After being adopted, Benson quickly became friends with Mathias, the family’s child, despite his initially odd demeanor.
Benson didn’t express love and affection until after the baby was born.
But one night, the family heard a loud bark coming from the baby’s chamber. They hurried to discover the reason behind Benson’s rib-biting.They initially believed he was intending to harm the child, but he was actually doing the exact opposite. The infant had stopped breathing, and it turned out that Benson was attempting to reach him.

When the family brought her to the hospital, they were informed that if Benson did not inform them of her illness, the baby would undoubtedly die.Luckily, it didn’t happen.
The idea that Benson might spare her child’s life in exchange for saving his own never occurred to Mrs. Robinson.
