This young man came and didn’t just perform—he resurrected an icon

A student entered online history when they went onto the high school stage. In addition to impressing his classmates, his incredible talent show submission has earned over 10 million views and is still growing. The nightclub atmosphere, the immaculate white suit, and that iconic white hat will undoubtedly evoke memories for anybody over 40. This young man brought back an icon, not just a performance.

He’s a very talented young man. Over the course of ten years, Japanese Michael Jackson impersonator Akira Jackson has amassed over 7 million YouTube views.

 

He went so far as to execute a full two-hour Michael Jackson show, complete with backup vocals and dance!

His videos often receive a few thousand views, but he usually attracts attention with one song. The performances in which Akira takes on the task of “Smooth Criminal” are the most well-liked.
