Over the course of ten years, he gathered over 8,000 glass bottles from a range of sources, including restaurants, streets, trash cans, and even municipal landfills. And the result? This unique house is consistently warm in the winter and cool in the summer because of the amazing properties of the glass walls.
Vladimir had always dreamed of building a unique house that was not only comfortable but also unique and fascinating.
But to make his ambition come true, a lot of tenacity and hard work were required. He spent ten years working toward his goal, and his creations now serve as an inspiration to others.
The main part of the structure? Eight thousand champagne bottles! Collecting these bottles became a quest unto itself.
Vladimir carefully collected them from everything from restaurants to streets, trash cans, and even public landfills.
He was extremely particular about the quality of the glass, favoring bottles from local producers known for their thickness and robustness.
After years of hard work, he was able to build a fantastic house on his property, complete with a large balcony and a clean annex.
Despite the materials’ seeming fragility, the structure is strong and resilient. Vladimir promises that his glass walls will withstand severe blows and sudden temperature changes.
The most surprising aspect, though, is the internal environment. The house stays chilly like a cellar in the summer and comfortably heated in the winter.
Even without heating, the plants on the window sills do not freeze and the air stays fresh. It seems that the unique design of the glass walls aids in the natural control of the temperature.
Today, while he spends time in his gorgeous glass home, Vladimir enjoys the comfort and the adoring gaze of his guests.
