My sister was marrying my ex-boyfriend, but nobody knew about it: on the wedding day the groom looked at me and suddenly said

On the day of the wedding, the groom turned to me and suddenly exclaimed, but no one knew that my sister was getting married to my ex-boyfriend 😢😲

Nobody knew. Not my mother, not my friends, nor my sister. Nobody.

My sister and I had chosen the dress, my hair had been done in three hours, and I was seated in the hall with the guests, holding my breath.

He was standing in front of the altar. Both my sister’s husband and my ex-partner, whom I still loved after we split up.

We went on a date a few years back. He professed to love me, composed songs, and was a dreamer back then, but he departed because “it wasn’t the right time for a relationship.” I went through a lot of suffering for him, and I never saw anyone else again after the split.

He and my sister showed up for a family dinner two years later. I nearly fainted. They were happy. I was frantic. But I remained silent. I kept all of the wedding preparations inside of myself. I was afraid my sister would never forgive me, and I didn’t want to spoil her happy existence. I was afraid my family would judge me.

And here I was sat as a witness at their wedding, attempting to make a grin. It was unbearably uncomfortable. for losing affection after cheating on a loved one.

💔 And when it came time to exchange vows, the groom looked at my sister. Then — at me. And when he yelled something out, I was one of the guests who was shocked.”I’m sorry.”– “I apologize.”

Everyone went cold.

My sister looked at him puzzledly. He sighed and said:

I’ve been lying to myself and to you the entire time, which is why I can’t get married. My affection for you hasn’t changed, Ella. Excuse me, and let’s talk.

Across the hall, shouts broke out. My sister looked at me with tears in her eyes.

I said nothing. merely stood up and left. I couldn’t ignore his betrayal, much less place my own happiness on top of someone else’s sorrow.

Two days later, he left for another country.

My sister had stopped communicating with me. I don’t know what to do at this point.

Maybe you could offer me some guidance?
