Micky Dumoulin, 24, works at the kiosk of a supermarket, where his regular customers often ask him for a quick song. They had no idea he was about to step onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage.
He chose “Bring Him Home” from Les Misérables, one of the most delicate songs in musical theatre. His soft, controlled voice held the high notes beautifully, and the theatre fell silent as he sang. 🎶
Micky was overwhelmed when he finished. The judges called it a beautiful, genuine and heartfelt performance, one of them said the vocal was perfect, and Simon Cowell said he had the same charisma he saw when he first met Olly Murs.
Four yeses sent him through, and the judges joked that his regulars would be very happy. ❤️
