Connected walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage in 2010 with one big dream. The five boys, Connor, Matt, Harry, Max and Miles, were aged between 13 and 15, and the group included a pair of brothers and a pair of twins. Their mums had given them the push they needed to audition.
They opened with “I Want It That Way” and their harmonies quickly filled the theatre. Piers Morgan admitted he got goose pimples the moment they started singing. 🎶
Simon Cowell was not so sure. He called them cute but said the style felt 15 years out of date, and Amanda Holden strongly disagreed with him. The boys then sang “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” to show what else they could do.
Piers and Amanda both said yes, and even Simon, who still felt the group had been badly advised, praised Harry’s voice and added his yes. Connected left the stage one step closer to their dream. ❤️
