Krista and Charlie were both just 8 when they stepped onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage as the Cheeky Monkeys. The best friends had been dancing together for just over a year, and they came out in sparkly outfits with plenty of confidence.
They admitted that making up routines together is not always easy. Sometimes one of them says no to a move the other one likes. Asked what it would mean to perform in front of the Royal Family, they said it would be a great opportunity.
Once the music started, the two of them danced with big energy and cheeky smiles 🎶. The crowd clapped along, and the little dancers gave it everything they had.
Simon said they looked terrific and had great energy, but he thought they were better than the choreography they were given. One judge said they had great promise and voted yes, while another felt they were not ready yet and said no. Simon still gave them one more chance with his yes, and the Cheeky Monkeys went through ❤️.
