Her Daughter Signed Her Up for BGT, and Her Second Song Won the Room

Sian Pattison with her daughter at Britain's Got Talent

Sian Pattison, a 31-year-old accounts manager and mum of three, admitted she had always been too scared to sing in front of a big audience. She did not even apply for Britain’s Got Talent herself. Her daughter sent in the application on her behalf.

Her first song did not land the way she hoped. Simon Cowell stopped her, said it felt too jolly to show any real emotion, and asked if she could sing something else.

Sian took the chance and switched to a slow, heartfelt ballad about missing someone you love. This time her voice carried every feeling, and the theatre went quiet as she sang. 🎶

The second attempt turned a shaky start into a moment her daughter could truly be proud of, and it showed how much courage it took for Sian to step onto that stage at all. ❤️
