Suddenly, a normal day was ruined by a strange incident involving a full bus of people. One perceptive passenger observed something odd on the driver’s outfit as they traveled in silence. He was shocked to discover hundreds of insects all over the driver’s ears and neck!
The driver, Primo Onipa, was taken aback by what he seen. With haste, he pulled out his phone and captured the whole thing on video. He uploaded the video to Facebook and called the insects lice out of disgust and indignation. He wished to bring the bus driver’s dirty acts to light and make him answerable for them.
Primo claimed that the bus driver smelled bad and didn’t seem to have changed his clothes or had a shower in more than a year. The driver appeared unaware of the infection in the startling pictures, acting as though these little parasites were a normal part of his existence.
The video became viral on social media quite quickly, to the dismay of many online users. Many people said that a man with a licensure shouldn’t be in charge of ensuring the security and safety of bus passengers.
However, what precisely are lice? These microscopic insects consume blood and reside on scalps. They inject saliva into the skin during their feast, which is why we all detest the extremely irritating itching.
The lice are brownish-gray in color and roughly the size of sesame seeds. To make sure the eggs adhere to the hair, the female louse secretes a material, usually in the vicinity of the base, three to five millimeters from the scalp. They frequently live behind the ears and in the neck, where at first there might not be any discomfort. Scratching, though, could result in more illnesses.
Since lice are little and cunning, finding them may prove to be difficult. If you’re very determined, though, you can “catch” them by using sticky tape to cover the damaged area. These bothersome insects have the power to significantly impair one’s sense of self and self-worth.
Despite common perception, lice are not a sign of destitution or unhygienic living conditions. Regardless of how spick and span they may have an impact on everyone. Their primary issue is their high contagiousness, which allows them to spread a variety of diseases from one person to another.
All we can do is visualize the driver’s and the passengers’ terror and suffering as a result of this occurrence. Sadly, the original video has been removed, but perhaps everyone can still see the message. It acts as a reminder to put maintaining good personal hygiene and keeping oneself tidy and safe at work first.
