Mom recalls horrifying moment she was forced to finish rollercoaster next to son’s limp body after his heart stopped

Christine Tagle discussed her awful experience at Disney World in Florida.

A mother has recounted the horrifying moment her son fainted while riding a rollercoaster at Disney World in Florida.

Disney is meant to be the stuff of dreams, but for Christine Tagle, a mother from Florida, a trip there quickly became a nightmare.

On September 21, Christine and her family visited the Guardians of the Galaxy attraction.

But after only 20 seconds on the rollercoaster, Christie’s five-year-old son Ernesto passed out, leaving Christie to finish the ride next to her son’s lifeless body as his heart stopped.

On the Walt Disney World Tips & Tricks Facebook group, the mother revealed the horrifying story, which thankfully had a happy ending.

When the ride was ended, I yelled for assistance and dragged him out. After being led to a hallway by the staff, I placed my son down and began performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. “The staff shocked him with the AED a few seconds later,” Christine continued.

The spouse stated, “A nurse and an EMT kept my husband stable when he started having seizures while they called for emergency medical assistance.”

In addition to praising Disney’s “trained staff,” the mother described how her son is still alive.

After thanking the pair for saving her son’s life, Christine urged everyone who is not trained in CPR to do so.

With the help of the Disney community on Facebook, she was able to find the pair after making a plea to try to find them.

“We were able to locate and talk to the amazing nurse and EMT who helped us, as well as cast members who were there, firefighters who helped on-site and in the ER, ambulance drivers and EMT, and doctors who were at our first ER,” Christine stated.

Ernesto was diagnosed with catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia, a genetic cardiac condition, after a series of testing.

Ernesto’s father posted pictures of their happy child in a hospital bed on Instagram after the horrifying incident.

In his letter, the father stated, “I’m happy to say that Ernesto is doing well after surgery with no signs of brain or heart damage.” Even better, when he arrives home, this warrior has already begged to ride his motorcycle.

Get your CPR certification or take a refresher course. “You never know when you’ll need it,” the father remarked.
