Anderson Cooper, 54, a CNN anchor, proved his younger self wrong when he said he would not have children. Cooper is now a proud father to two sons after coming out as gay at the age of twelve.
His first son, Wyatt Morgan, was born in April 2020. The name “Morgan” has familial significance because it was a name that was considered on his late mother Gloria Vanderbilt’s side and named after his late father, Wyatt Emory Cooper.

In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres’ EllenTube, Cooper jokingly said that he had bought a number of parenting books but had never read them. Despite the lack of preparation, he credited Benjamin Maisani, his ex-husband and co-parent, for helping him be happy in every aspect of parenthood.
The family has expanded with the recent arrival of Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper. On his program “Anderson Cooper 360,” Cooper revealed this information and said that Maisani is presently pursuing Wyatt’s adoption.
Born healthy and content, Sebastian is already making an impression despite his occasional hiccups. Cooper claims to love Maisani as his best friend and is adamant about co-parenting his children. Despite the initial challenges, he feels “definitely calmer” as a first-time father this time.
