Sara Haines Stunned: Whoopi Goldberg’s Shocking Confession Sparks Walk-Off on The View

Since 2007, Goldberg has been a regular visitor on The View, where she hosts and makes changes to the talk show. On Wednesday’s program (November 13), the crew celebrated Goldberg’s 69th birthday by highlighting the Oscar-winning actor through a variety of events and discussions. One episode featured the Ghost actress standing behind a wheel of cheese with her face on it.

Haines joked, “I’ve always wanted my face on cheese.” Goldberg joked that she wanted to eat less in her response. When her co-host, shocked by Goldberg’s subtle remark, immediately departed the stage, the audience clapped, laughed, and gasped. Goldberg realized the response and went on in a comedic way, “Never mind.” This 24-month-matured wheel of real Parmigiano Reggiano is a perfect example of Italian quality and history.

As the audience watched, confused by the encounter, Haines remained composed and gave Goldberg a quick embrace before returning to the stage. However, Goldberg wasn’t done yet. She laughed before Haines could stop her, saying, “And eat Whoopi Goldberg if you want a chance to win a wheel like this one. Adding to the humor, she said, “That’s correct! No, and consume some food!

Earlier this year, Goldberg surprised many of her admirers by revealing the whereabouts of her mother’s ashes. In her memoir, the TV host claimed that she learned of her mother’s passing while performing in Sister Act the Musical during its West End run.

In a candid and unique story of saying goodbye to her mother, Goldberg warned the audience, “No one should do this,” during an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers. She disclosed that she had decided to scatter her mother’s ashes in Disneyland because she “liked” the location.

Goldberg noted how much she loved Small World, saying, “It was also one of my favorites as a child when it debuted at the World’s Fair.” She went on to explain her unique technique, saying, “On the Small World ride, sometimes I’d pretend to sneeze and scatter a little piece of her.”

The humorous story continued as Goldberg described another incident: “We proceeded to the ‘Disneyland’ flowers, and I said, ‘Oh, look at that.'” She smiled and imitated another fake sneeze as she continued, “And that’s how I left a part of her there.”
