I installed a hidden camera in my store after products started to disappear in strange ways, and I was shocked by what I saw 
My dream has always been to start my own company. It would just be myself, my hands, and my unshakeable willpower if there were no investors or startup capital. After several years, I finally launched my own small grocery store.
I’ve discovered throughout the years that my staff members are the most sympathetic people. We have survived outages, emergencies, and irate customers together. To me, they evolved into family rather than just colleagues.
But now strange things started happening.
At first, I noticed that some bananas disappeared every day. Apples, pears, and mangoes come next. The tastiest, ripest fruit seems to have been deliberately chosen. I thought it was a warehousing mistake. Next, an accounting error. But no. Products began to systematically vanish. More each day.
When I talked to the lads, they all promised not to take anything. They were so convincing that I began to wonder if I was wrong. Maybe I missed something?
But one night I became impatient. After the store closed, I installed a secret camera. Even my top salesman was kept in the dark. I wanted to find out the truth.
Early the next morning, I watched the tape. I almost dropped my phone because I was so stunned. I thought my employees were stealing, but the truth was much more shocking
The back door was clearly left unlocked, and it was simple to observe how a monkey cautiously entered through it on the screen. Yes, a real, fluffy monkey with expressive eyes and a tail resembling an acrobat.
Clearly, she was not your typical visitor. She began by quickly checking to make sure the store was empty. Then, like a real gourmet, she sneaked over to the fruit section and started making deliberate choices.
She began by snapping off a banana, taking a whiff, and then throwing it away since she didn’t enjoy it. Then she found a peach, sat down between the boxes, and started eating it slowly.
As soon as a staff member passed by, she ducked behind the boxes and froze like she was playing hide-and-seek. When she was alone herself again, she went back to tasting.
In the video, she ate:
Two bananas, an avocado (which she bit and threw away since it didn’t taste good), half a pineapple (yes, she used her claws to open it),
That was pears and unadulterated love.
I watched the video several times. At first, I was really shocked. Then, with a small smile. I couldn’t stop laughing after that. We had no idea that this mischievous little animal was conducting “raids” almost daily.
The next day, I got there early and waited close to the back door. What do you know, too? She showed up. As though at home, confident and shameless. She stopped and looked at me. and seemed to scowl.
I gave her a banana.
Since then, I have a business, a monkey named Fru-Fru, and an amazing crew. We made a deal whereby I give her some fruit every day and she stops stealing.
