Brothers Nyjah and Zyah walked onto the America’s Got Talent stage looking calm and confident. Nyjah is 16 and Zyah is 15, and the two teens from Hawaii perform as Music and Rhythm 🌺.
They told the judges that watching Grace VanderWaal’s famous audition when they were little was what inspired them to try out for the show. Instead of a cover, they chose to sing “Heartbeat”, a song they wrote themselves.
Before singing, the brothers had a little surprise. They walked over to the judges’ table and handed roses to the ladies on the panel, which made the whole room laugh 🌹.
Then the music started and the brothers showed what they came for. Their voices blended in smooth, tight harmonies, and the audience was soon clapping along 🎶.
One judge told them they would be memorable and that people were going to know their name. Another was honest and said the song itself did not fully connect, but the harmonies were something they would not forget.
Another judge added that doing their own song at a first audition is not easy and is very nerve wracking, but if you have talent, you have talent, and they do. The brothers left the stage smiling, with the crowd cheering behind them ❤️.
