After 20 years, the actress who portrayed Rizzo in “Grease” comes out of hiding and looks completely different.

No one on the earth, regardless of age, hasn’t heard of the well-known relationship between the charming Danny Zuko and the quiet Australian transfer student Sandy Olsson. Grease is still a huge hit today, over 43 years after it won over millions of hearts and became the highest-grossing musical of the time.

It may surprise you to learn that we all wished we had what Sandy and Danny had. They made such an impact on the youth of that time that many of them mimicked the movie’s dance moves. Aspects of the era that shaped American society included the prom, the car races, the mooning accident, and the singing and dancing in Grease.

Because of this cultural phenomenon, which lasted for years after it was released, Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta both rose to fame as superstars. Newton-John’s performance of “Hopelessly Devoted to You” was nominated for an Oscar for original song.

But it wasn’t just these two who rose to fame as a result of Grease.

The majority of you remember Stockard Channing’s portrayal as the disobedient Rizzo.

Channing is currently 79 years old and was 34 when she was cast in the role.

People were amazed at how much she had changed over the years due to her elderly age when she appeared on Lorraine Kelly’s daytime chat show a while back to promote her new West End performance, Apologia.

Channing talked about Grease among the others, saying that it’s incredible that people are still obsessed with it after all these years.

“I really don’t want to accept it! I don’t want to think about that number! I am the world’s oldest teen still alive! In response to a question concerning the musical’s success, she said, “It is a little daunting, coming out of the theater with people shoving photos in your face.”

It was natural that people would comment on Channing’s appearance. Many claim that she has had multiple plastic surgery procedures.

Among the comments was, “What the hell had Rizzo done to her face?!?!”

“Oh my goodness, Stockard Channing doesn’t look like himself on #Lorraine. Unfortunately, a lot of people think they can’t age gracefully.

“Oh no. Stockard Channing appeared somewhat eerie on @ITVLorraine.

“How in the world did Stockard Channing harm her face? Her speech is difficult.

Following a Mirror article regarding Channing’s appearance on the talk show, more people joined in expressing their thoughts about her appearance and plastic surgery in general.

It is quite regrettable that women, in particular, feel they need to have a lot of surgery to keep looking young. She is a stunning woman, and without all the fillers, I’m sure she would have aged gracefully.

“I don’t understand why these famous people care; why don’t they accept growing older? I see women in their seventies and eighties who have beautiful wrinkles and healthy-looking skin.

Is it any wonder that people who have more money than common judgment try to keep up the appearance they had forty years ago and fail? They genuinely look pretty dangerous as a result. Being 73 years old is not a cause for shame, and if more artists and actresses refused to be told they don’t look their age, maybe things would get better.
